our story
The River was birthed in 2023 out of a personal encounter with Jesus and revelation from Ezekiel 47 and Revelation 22—a prophetic picture of the restoration to come when God renews all things and the nations are healed and revived.
Until that day, He has filled His people with the Holy Spirit—the River of living water—so we can experience personal revival and release His power to transform cities and nations.
This is a movement of sons and daughters of God who are maturing in their faith and being equipped to pray fervently, preach the Gospel with power and love, and make disciples. This is the Great Commission Jesus gave to every believer.
As a community, we gather weekly via Zoom for biblical teaching, intercession, spiritual gifts activation, and evangelism training. Throughout the year, we host local, in-person meetups for fellowship and outreach, creating space for connection, activation, and hands-on evangelism.
Each year, we also embark on our annual River Trip—a larger-scale evangelism tour where we travel to preach the Gospel boldly, love on communities to bring life and healing to the nations, just as we see in Ezekiel 47 & Revelation 22!

Do you feel intimidated starting gospel conversations with strangers? Creative Evangelism is designed to equip you with confidence, boldness, and practical tools to share the Good News. (And if you don’t consider yourself creative — this is still for you too!)
This is power evangelism with a creative edge—we’ll train you in how to:
• Share the Gospel clearly and confidently
• Move in your spiritual gifts such as prophecy and healing
• Use your creative gifts (photography, painting, writing, poetry, etc.) to spark gospel conversations
This is not a space to sell your art, but to freely minister to others through your creativity and the power of the Holy Spirit. Salvation is a free gift from God, and we never want to confuse someone’s experience of receiving the Gospel.

Alexus Davis is an evangelist originally from Capitol Heights, Maryland, now based in Houston, Texas. She serves in her local church and through her personal ministry, equipping believers to boldly share the Gospel and win the lost.
After years of searching for fulfillment in the world and battling depression, Alexus encountered the love and power of Jesus in 2017. In one life-changing moment of surrender, she was set free and filled with the presence of God. That encounter awakened her to the reality that Jesus is not distant—but personal, powerful, and still transforming lives today.
Since then, her mission has been clear: to proclaim the Gospel with boldness, move in the power of the Holy Spirit, and equip believers to walk like Jesus. She is passionate about activating others in evangelism, helping them grow in intimacy with God, and empowering them to live Spirit-led lives that impact their cities and beyond.
